Our Story

Hawkins Howe founded Native Groundworks in 2023 with little more than an old, beat-up truck and $4,000 to his name. After gaining hands-on experience with several landscaping and concrete contractors, he realized it was time to build something of his own—something that reflected his values, vision, and commitment to doing things the right way.

“It was the best decision I ever made,” Hawkins says. And in just two short years, that leap of faith has grown into something bigger than he imagined—a company that people are proud to be a part of.

Today, Native Groundworks is home to a tight-knit crew of full-time team members and a growing fleet of top-of-the-line equipment. But more than that, we’re a company built on trust, grit, and a deep respect for the land we work on and the people we work with.
